Pricing Rules

Charge extra based on what customers add to their designs.

Creating a Rule​

  1. Go to DesignLab → Pricing Rules
  2. Click Add Rule
  3. Select a charge type:
    • Per Text Element — Charges for each text added
    • Per Image Element — Charges for each image uploaded
    • Per Any Element — Charges for every element
    • Per User-Added Element — Only charges for elements the customer adds (not pre-placed ones)
  4. Set the price per element
  5. Optionally set a max price per view
  6. Click Create Rule

How It Works​

When a customer adds elements to their design:

  1. The pricing engine calculates extra charges based on active rules
  2. Extra price is added to the product price in the cart
  3. A breakdown is shown in the cart item details

Per-Design Pricing​

Individual designs can also have their own price. Set it in the design options (gear icon) under the General tab.
